2 Tbs. flour
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 Tbs. vegetable oil
1 cup (1 small) chopped onion
1 cup (2 stalks) thickly sliced celery
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1¾ cups (14.5 oz. can) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup (2 small) thickly sliced carrots
1 tsp. Beef Bouillon granules
½ tsp. ground thyme
2 cups (1 large) large chunks peeled potato
touch of red wine

1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Add meat; toss well to coat. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add meat, onion, celery and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for 6-8 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
2. Add tomatoes with juice, carrots, bouillon and thyme. Bring to a bowl. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes. Add potato and red wine; cover. Cook stirring occasionally for additional 25-30 minutes or until meat is tender.
