2 eggs, beaten
¼ C milk
¾ Tsp salt
2 C flour

1 5-6 Lb. whole chicken
1 med onion, chopped
4 Tsp salt
¼ Tsp pepper
3 carrots, thinly sliced
2 Tab flour

Directions:

Noodles:
Combine eggs, milk and salt.
Add about 2 C flour to make a stiff dough.

Divide dough in half.
Roll very thinly on floured surface; let stand 20 minutes.
Roll up loosely; slice ¼" wide.
Unroll, cut into desired lengths.
Let dry 2 hours.

Chicken:
Place chicken in kettle with enough water to cover, approx. 8 cups.
Add onion, salt and pepper.
Cover; bring to a boil, simmer 1 hour.
Remove chicken, let cool.
Remove meat from bones, discard bones.
Bring broth to boiling, add noodles and carrots.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Add chicken.
Blend ¼ C cold water into flour, add to chicken mix.
Cook and stir till slightly thickened.
