Ingredients: 1 egg 1 t. mustard (regular or Dijon) 1 t. Worcestershire sauce 1 small onion; finely grated 1 clove garlic; minced ½ t. salt ½ t. pepper 1 lb. ground beef Mix-ins: 1 T. ketchup or bbq sauce, 1 t. teriyaki or hoisin, 2 t. cajun seasoning, 1 T. sour cream or greek yogurt, 1 t. lemon pepper, 1 chopped jalapeno, or any other favorite seasonings.

Directions:1. Lightly oil grill and heat to medium. 2. Whisk egg in bowl and add next 6 ingredients. 3. Add any mix-ins you desire. 4. Crumble in beef using your hands or a fork, gently mix together. 5. Handle the meat as little as possible. 6. Gently shape (don't firmly press) mixture into burger shapes about ¾-in. thick. 7. Using your thumb, make a shallow depression in the center of each burger to prevent puffing up during cooking. 8. Place burgers on the grill, close lid and cook until no longer pink; turning once, about 6-8 minutes per side. (Thermometer should read 160º). 9. Don't press with spatula while cooking or they won't be as juicy. 10. Tuck into crusty bun and top with your favorite toppings. |

Notes: We personally love the Angus frozen patties from Sam's, but we didn't have any one night and made these and my whole crew loved them! It's a good burger recipe to have on hand!
