2 cups flour
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter (1 cup total)
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
Topping--
2½ TBSP sugar
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients. Cream butter with sugar and eggs. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into 9" X 13" baking dish and bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
Topping--
Combine sugar and cream in saucepan and heat. Do not boil. Pour over warm cake. Cake must be served from baking dish. It's gooey and delicious!
