1 kg of boneless chicken (cut into pieces)
1 cup of yellow peas (dhal Ti Pois)
1 cup of Chana Dal (dhal Gram)
1 cup of black lentils
1 cup of red lentils
2 tablespoons of garlic and ginger paste
1 kg of onions (sliced ​​and fried)
2 additional onions
1 clove of garlic, salt and oil
4 tablespoons of cracked wheat
Chopped coriander and mint leaves
Chopped chives (to garnish)
4 Tablespoons of Haleem spices

Mix Chana Dal and lentils and wash
Cook in a pressure cooker over medium heat for 20 minutes, adding water and salt to taste.
Remove from heat and set aside
Mix 2 onions and the garlic with a little water
Mix the haleem spices with 1 cup of water
Marinate the chicken with 2 tablespoons of garlic and ginger paste and salt to taste.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the chicken. Stir for 5 minutes
Add the spice blend and 1 cup of water
Add the onion and garlic paste
Pour the dhal and lentils into the pan (add water if necessary)
Add soaked cracked wheat and a handful of fried onions
Add half of the chopped cilantro, mint and salt and cook for 15 minutes.
Garnish with fried onions and remaining cilantro and mint
