2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 stick softened margarine
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 cup Crisco oil
1 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs slightly beaten

Icing:
1 stick margarine
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box (16 oz.) confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Oven 375º. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. In saucepan, blend margarine and cocoa. Add oil and water and bring to a boil. Pour over sugar and flour mixture. Add vanilla, buttermilk and eggs; mix. Pour into greased and floured 2 9x9" square baking pans or 1 jellyroll pan. Bake at 375º for 30 minutes.

Icing: Put stick of margarine into same pot, add cocoa; mix. Add milk, confectioners sugar, vanilla and walnuts. Mix and pour over hot cake. Cool and refrigerate.
