1 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 T light corn syrup
3 T water
½ c. chopped walnuts or toasted almonds
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a 2 qt. saucepan.
Add sugar until it dissolves.
Add water and corn syrup.
Cook over medium heat to 290º - DO NOT STIR - about 12 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in nuts.
Immediately place in a greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle the chocolate chip on top.
After a couple of minutes, spread the melted chocolate.
When cool, remove with a spatula and break into pieces.
