8 oz chocolate wafers- crushed
¾ stick butter

Filling:
12 oz. Semisweet chocolate morsels
24 oz. Cream cheese
1 t. vanilla
1/8 t. salt
1 c. sugar
3 large eggs
1 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides only of spring-form pan. Crumble cookies for 2 cups crumbs. Melt butter; stir into cookie crumbs. Pour into pan and mold to make the crust.

Filling: Melt Chocolate carefully; don’t scorch. Cool slightly. Beat cream cheese until very smooth. Add vanilla, salt and sugar. Continue to beat well. Slowly add slightly cooled chocolate and beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beat after each egg. Add sour cream and beat until well mixed. Pour filling into crust. Rotate pan briskly first one direction then the other to smooth the top. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour or until edges crack. Cool on rack before refrigerating overnight.
