1 pound hot Italian sausage
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 cups biscuit baking mix (Bisquick)
3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Remove sausage from casing: cook in large skillet, breaking up the meat with a fork, until no longer pink, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain off the fat; spoon sausage in large bowl; cool completely. Add cheese, biscuit mix and water; mix with fork just until blended. Roll into 1 inch balls; place on large cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in hot oven (400) for 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and browned. Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks. Can be frozen. Freeze in single layer on cookie sheets. Place in plastic bag when frozen. To reheat: Arrange in single layer on large cookie. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
