1 c. unsalted butter
4 T. powdered fruit sugar
2 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
¼ t. salt
¾ c. finely chopped pecans
icing sugar
1T. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter well; add sugar gradually and cream thoroughly. Add vanilla and 1T. water.
Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time beating well after each addition.
Flour hands and roll dough into balls the size of dates. Bake in greased cookie sheet at 350ºF until light brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool. Roll in icing sugar.
Makes 3 doz.
