4 T ( cup) toasted sesame oil
4 T ( cup) soy sauce
2 T fresh grated ginger or 1 T ginger juice

Directions:
Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce and ginger. Add half to a non-metal bowl or a ziplock bag, reserving the rest. Add the tuna and allow to marinade at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Brush a non-stick skillet with olive oil and heat to medium high. Sear the tuna steaks on each side, 2-2 minutes, keeping the inside rare to medium rare.

Slice across the grain and serve with remaining marinade as a dipping sauce. This goes well with sesame glazed bok choy.

Personal Notes:
Tuna steaks should be served rare to medium rare, so it's a quick turnaround from heat source to table. This simple marinade is a perfect match for tuna.
