STEP ONE
1 - 1 1/2 gal, Cucumbers, sliced or cubed
4 C Water
1 C Coarse Salt

STEP TWO
2 tsp Tumeric
1 pint White Vinegar


STEP THREE
10 C Sugar
5 C White Vinegar
4 C Water
1 Tbsp Pickling Spice
1/2 pkg Cinnamon Sticks

Directions:

STEP ONE
Clean and slice or cube cucumbers. Boil water and coarse salt. Pour over cucumbers and let stand 24 hours. Drain.

STEP TWO
Mix together tumeric and vinegar and bring to a boil. Pour over drained cucumbers. Stir well and soak. for a bit. Drain, and put in ice water. Chill until cold. Put in bottles, and drain liquid from bottles.

STEP THREE
Boil together all Step Three ingredients, pour over pickles, put lids on jars, and cold pack for 5 minutes.
