2 pounds boneless chicken thighs
4 Tbsp mochiko
4 Tbsp cornstarch
4 Tbsp sugar
5 Tbsp shoyu
3 cloves minced garlic
½ tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
¼ cup thinly sliced green onion
1 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
½ tsp grated ginger
oil for frying

Directions:

Mix everything (except chicken and oil). Marinade chicken for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Put it in a plastic bag and place in a bowl. Mix the chicken in the bag before you fry it to redistribute the marinade before you fry the chicken. Fry chicken in 1 inch of frying oil until golden brown on both sides or heat oil in a deep fryer to 350º and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes flipping after 3-3 1/2 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
