1 1/2 cups pumpkin (1 can of pumpkin or 2 cups homemade pumpkin)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 to 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
3 lightly beaten eggs
1 1/4 cup milk
1 6 ounces evaporated milk or just use additional 1/2 cup milk
1 9 inch pie shell not cooked (can put a couple of tablespoons of white corn syrup spread around in the bottom of the shell)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Blend in eggs, milk, and evaporated milk Mix with a whisk. Pour into shell.

Bake in 400 degree oven for 50 minutes or until knife inserted one half way between center and edge comes out clean.

To keep crust from burning put an aluminum foil tent over pie. Remove the last 15 minutes.
