Notes: I like these cookies. However, I loved my mom's cutouts. Sadly, I could not find her recipe. When she decorated her cookies she left no details out. Each Santa had a pack decorated with toys. His fur was detailed around each black boot and hat, coat and so on. Each tree had lights and star and garland. Candles had flickering light and holly at the base. Stars were brilliantly decorated with glitter. Each cookie regardless of shape was decorated with every minute detail.
She did dozens of many different kinds of cookies each Christmas. Never complaining about the work involved.
