Ingredients:
4 sticks margarine
1 cup sugar
3 to 4 tsp vanilla
3-1/2 to 4 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped almonds
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:

Cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Stir in almonds and enough flour to make dough easy to handle.

Roll dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes. Remove cookies from the pan to cool. Roll in powdered sugar. (I have found it works best to sprinkle the powdered sugar over warm cookies using a sifter, then repeat when cool).

Personal Notes:
I was watching Dr. Phil one afternoon and his wife was on the show talking about their Christmas cookies. This cookie was Dr. Phil’s favorite. I have made them every year since.
