4 boned chicken breasts, halved and cut into pieces
8-12 slices Havarti or Swiss cheese
1 can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup
½ c. sherry
¼ c. cream
½ package of 15 oz. Pepperidge Farm Seasoned Cornbread Stuffing Mix (Crumbs not cubes)
1 c. butter
1 c. chopped celery, optional
1 c. sliced water chestnuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in baking dish and top with cheese. Mix together soup, sherry, and cream; pour over top of chicken. Sprinkle chicken with stuffing mix. Pour melted butter over all. Bake uncovered at 350º degrees for 1 hour.

Note: To prevent stuffing from getting too brown, bake chicken loosely covered with foil during first half hour. Also, for an added ‘crunch’, add 1 cup of cut-up celery and 1 cup of sliced water chestnuts.
