1 cake of yeast
6T. Sugar
1 3/4 t Salt
1/2 c. Melted Shortening
3/4 c Luke warm water
3/4 c. scalded Milk (cool it)
5 - 5 1/4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast on warm scalded milk. Add shortening, sugar and water.
Add flour & beat thoroughly.
Roll out and cover with warm damp cloth.
Rise to double
Roll into 1/3" thick . With a greased knife, cut a line in top dividing circle a bit.
Butter and fold over each roll to form a circle again
Rise to TRIPPLE
Bake 450º for 15-18 minutes
Watch them closely as ovens vary in temperature
