1 lb shortening
5 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp brown sugar

1 egg
3 tbsp vinegar
water
Directions:
Directions:
Blend dry ingredients with shortening.
In a cup break 1 egg and beat with fork until quite light. Add the 3 tbsp of vinegar and finish filling cup with water. Add to dry ingredients a little at a time.
