Mom's Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

1 C. sweet potato
1 1/2 C. sugar
4T. butter melted
2 large eggs beaten
1t. vanilla
1/2t. ground cinnamon
1/4t. ground cloves
1/4 C. evaporated milk
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl add potatoes, using a potato masher or electric mixer, mash in sugar, beaten eggs, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves. Slowly add milk, continue to beat until smooth.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake 45 minutes at 350º® or until center is set. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.

I had never really cared for sweet potato pie until I found this recipe, I made it and liked
it so much that this is the only way I will make one now. Most of the family likes it for
