Pre-heat oven to 375 º
Crumb topping - stir together brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, oats. Cut butter into mixture
In large mixing bowl, stir in granulated sugar, 3T of flour, cinnamon, salt. Add apples and toss to coat.
Add apple mixture to pie crust and top with crumb mixture
*To prevent over browning, cover the edge of pie with foil
Bake 25 minutes
Remove foil, bake another 25-30 minutes more, until top is golden brown
Remove from oven, sprinkle with pecans and drizzle with Carmel
*Sometimes I add a little more caramel, and it tends to run sense the pie is hot, so make sure to put a cookie sheet underneath to prevent a mess!
