"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Most of the time we are traveling when we spend time with Loretta and Jerry. The one thing I can think of that Loretta has prepared is her cheese and guava jelly. Loretta and Jerry met with us at our Stowe Vermont home last summer. We spent several days touring the area of all of our favorite places and beautiful foliage season in the Northern Vermont mountains. The time we spent flying our small plane to the Bahama Abaco Islands, touring in a small boat all of the small island and villages in the Sea of Abaco. Some islands for eating lunch and sighting the small settlements, some for shelling, snorkeling and swimming. Enjoying the beautiful water, beaches and marine life. Returning to Florida we cleared customs in Ft Pierce, FL. After takeoff, Air Traffic Control (ATC) was vectoring away from the Space Coast because of a shuttle launch. Leveling off above the clouds on an ATC vector we had a ring side seat to the shuttle coming through the clouds to clear blue skies on its way to the Space Station. Immediately afterwards, ATC vectors us to the Victor airway (roads in the sky) on the west side of the inter coastal river by cape Kennedy. again we had a ringside seat to the smoke from the launch still rolling down the shuttle runway landing runway.
