4 medium sweet onions
2 small zucchini, shredded
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
4-6 strips of bacon cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel onions and cut a 1/4 inch slice from top and bottom. Carefully cut and remove the centre of each onion ,leaving a shell. Chop removed onion.
2. In skillet, sauce zucchini,garlic and chopped onions in oil until tender. Stir in spices and remove from heat. Stir in bread crumbs, bacon and parmesan cheese. Fill onions with mixture
3. Place in a greased slow cooker. Add broth to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for approx 4 hours of until onions are tender
