1 tbsp olive oil
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Kosher salt
tsp cayenne pepper
tsp coarse black pepper
tsp ground coriander
cup chili powder
1/3 cup dried chopped onion (equal to 1 medium onion)
cup beef broth
1 (15) oz can tomato sauce
1 (29) oz can tomato puree
2 (16) oz cans of dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Add olive oil to skillet and heat to medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook stirring occasionally until the ground beef has browned. Drain most of the fat from the ground beef, leaving about 2 tbsp. Pour browned ground beef into the slow cooker.

Add the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir mixture, cover with the lid and cook on low heat for 5 - 6 hours.
