Ingredients: 1¾ cups all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar ¾ cup Hershey's cocoa 2 tsp.baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 cup strong coffee 1 cup buttermilk or sour milk * ½ cup vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla
*Use 1 tbsp. vinegar plus milk to equal 1 cup

Directions:PREHEAT OVEN TO 350º. Combine dry ingredients in large mixer bowl. Add remaining ingredients; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes (batter will be thin). Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Cool completely and frost. |

Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting |

Ingredients: 1/2 cup Cocoa (more or less to your preference) 2 and 2/3 cups powdered sugar 6 tbsp. softened butter 4-5 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions: |
Directions:Mix cocoa and powdered sugar together. Cream butter with half of the cocoa mixture in a small bowl. Add remaining cocoa mixture alternately with milk, beating until of spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. For a glossier frosting, add 1 tbsp. corn syrup. |
