2 ounces good Bourbon (my favorite is Woodford Reserve)
3 shakes Angostura bitters
Orange peel
1/2 to 1 tsp simple syrup (or 1 sugar cube)
2 Luxardo cherries
Ice

Directions:

in a high ball size glass, add 3 shakes of bitters. Add simple syrup and bourbon. Add just enough ice to cover bourbon.. Stir 25 times....seriously... Rub orange peel around rim of glass and add to glass. Add 2 Luxardo cherries.

This is my favorite cocktail!! I asked the bartender at a restaurant for their recipe because it was so perfect. By the way, he specifically told me to stir 25 times LOL! Hey, if it ain't broke.....Enjoy!!

Also, I know the Luxardo cherries are pricey but they last a long time and there is absolutely NO substitute for them! You can find them at Meijer or nice liquor store...but not in Florida??? WTH!
