3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
5 cups flour
2 t baking powder
2 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, shortening and sugar with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 6-8 minutes.
