10 Tbs unsalted butter
1 C unsweetened applesauce
1/2 C whole or 2 % milk
3 large eggs
2 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 tsps baking powder
1 1/2 tsps salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 C plus 3 Tbs sugar
1/2 C light or dark brown sugar
1/4 C Veg oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1 stick butter in stand mixer.
Place applesauce & milk in med bowl & stir to combine.
Place eggs on counter
Let everything rest for 1 hour to come to room temp.

Arrange rack in middle of oven 350º
Melt 1 Tbs butter in microwave & brush 10 C (9") bundt cake pan

Place flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, & nutmeg & whisk to combine.

Add 3/4 C sugar& 1/2 cup brown sugar to the bowl of butter. Beat until light & fluffy about 3 min.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add oil & vanilla & beat until incorporated about 1 min.

Reduce to low & beat in 1/3 flour mixture, then half of the milk mixture. Beat inhale the flour then remaining milk. Beat in the remaining flour. Increase the speed to med & beat until just combined, 30 sec.Scrape the batter into prepared pan & smooth out the top.

Bake until cake tester comes out clean (55-65 min). Meanwhile stir 3 tsps sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon & pinch of nutmeg.

Place bundt pan on rack. Melt 1 Tbs butter & brush the bottom of the cake. Sprinkle with 2 tsp spiced sugar.
Flip cake onto rack brush all over with melted butter & spiced sugar.

Serve warm or at room temp.
