Ingredients:  
4 chicken breasts or 3 cans (6oz) chicken
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons Italian salad dressing mix (I like to use 1 packet)
6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1 tablespoon onion, chopped or 1/4 teaspoon minced/dry
Chicken Broth, used to make desired consistency

Directions:

Wash chicken and pat dry.
Brush with butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place in crockpot.
Sprinkle with dry salad mix.
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
About 45 minutes before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, and onion in a small saucepan.
Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken in the crockpot.
Cover and cook for 30 minutes on low.
Serve with sauce on top of rice or pasta.
