4 oz dark chocolate baking bar
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter
2 tblsp instant coffee granules
1 cup buttermilk

Glaze
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp instant coffee
2 tblsp water

Frosting
4 oz dark chocolate bar
2 tsp instant coffee
3 tblsp milk
½ tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter
⅛ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate.
Beat brown sugar, butter, eggs, coffee, and vanilla. Add chocolate.
Beat in dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk.
Pour in 2 9" pans, greased.
Bake 35 minutes at 350º.

Cool, remove from pans. Brush with coffee glaze.

Melt chocolate and butter, mix in remaining ingredients for frosting.
Frost cake.

Personal Notes:
You can make buttermilk by adding 1 tblsp of white vinegar or lemon juice to the milk. Make sure it is one cup total, and stir. Let sit for about a minute before use.
