1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
21/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt


Directions:
Directions:
For Batter: Combine butter & sugars, beat until fluffy.
Add eggs, vanilla,& milk beating well.


Combine flour, baking powder & salt; then stir into batter.

Cover and chill 3-4 hours or overnight.
Roll out 1/3 of dough to 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured board.
Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
Bake @ 375º on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
Cool and decorate as desired.
