1/2 C Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
2 1/2 C Fruit and all juice.
1 C flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Shortening
1/2 C Milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in fruit and all juice. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Pour into 1 1/2 quart baking dish, dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add the shortening and cut in with a fork until it looks like "meal". Stir in the milk, drop onto hot fruit.

Bake at 400 25 - 30 minutes
