1 1/2 c. butter-flavored Crisco
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 large pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Cream together Crisco and brown sugar. Add milk, vanilla, and eggs. Add flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

This is one of my Mom's cookie recipes. She wrote it in the back of the 1982-83 Cookie Cookbook from Birdwell Elementary School that I attended. She wrote several of her cookies in there and now I can bake them!
