1 lb. beef stew cubes (or cut beef into 1-inch cubes)
2 medium onions, chopped
¼ tsp. dry mustard
1 ¼ tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 ¼ tsp. salt
3 tbsp. Worcester sauce
¾ tsp. cider vinegar
6 tbsp. ketchup
1 ½ cup water
3 tbsp. water
Olive oil
½ package egg noodles or Spaetzle

Directions:

Brown meat in olive oil on all sides. Add onion and sauté.

While meat is browning, combine mustard, paprika, sugar and salt in a small bowl. Combine Worcester sauce, cider vinegar, ketchup and add the mustard mix and stir.

Drain grease from meat and add sauce and 1 cup water. Cook on low for 2 ½ hours.

Stir flour into ½ cup water and mix into the meat. Stir till thickened.

Serve over cooked egg noodles or Spaetzle (see separate recipe).
