2 pkg. Red Jello
2 c. Cold Water
2 c. Vanilla Ice Cream

Fix gelatin, and add ice cream. Stir until ice cream dissolves. Refrigerate 3 hours and top with sliced bananas and strawberries. This is the only salad I can make.

This was the only salad I knew how to make as a kid. When the girls come for the summer, Sierra always makes Jell-O in jelly jars. I will never forget what a lifesaver those jelly jars of Jell-O were when we finished the Devil's Tower hike. 2.9 miles in 100 weather. I have such happy memories of our picnics.
