1½ cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
2 eggs, well-beaten
6 tbsp. Pet Milk
2¼ cups Whole kernel corn, canned or cooked, drained

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
2. Work in the shortening with a fork
3. Add well-beaten eggs to the mixture
4. Stir in the Pet Milk all at once and mix quickly and thoroughly
5. Pour that mixture quickly and thoroughly into the flour.
6. Fold in drained corn
7. Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil; fry until golden brown. Drain.
