Easy Pepper Steak Recipe

8-12 oz venison/beef
1 large onion, sliced
cup water
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 large green bell peppers
1 tsp minced garlic
1 can beef broth
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 tsp ground ginger

Place meat in crock pot with the onion and water overnight on low or on high for 4 hours.

Remove meat from crock pot, separate onions and discard.
Mince garlic and slice bell peppers into strips.
Mix broth, soy sauce, corn starch and ginger, stir until smooth.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until golden.
Add peppers and remaining onion, cook until tender but still crisp.
Add meat and sauce mix to skillet. Bring mix to a boil for 1 min or until meat is hot.

Serve over egg noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
