½ cup butter, softened
4oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1¾ cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
dash salt
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, sugar and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans (dough will be crumbly).

Shape tablespoons of dough into 2 inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375º for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll warm cookies in confectioners sugar. Cool on wire racks.
