3 c. Domino's sugar
⅛ tsp. salt
1½ c. Carnation evaporated milk
¼ c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly combine cocoa, sugar & salt in a 4 qt. saucepan and gradually add milk. Bring to a bubbly boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.

Continue to boil without stirring until mixture reaches a temperature of 234º or until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water.

Remove saucepan from heat. Add butter or margarine and vanilla. Do Not Stir. Allow fudge to cool at room temperature until it reaches 110º.

Beat by hand until fudge thickens and loses some of it's gloss. Quickly spread fudge in a lightly buttered 8 or 9 inch square pan. Cool then cut into squares.
