"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

1 box spice cake mix
1 - 3.4 oz. box instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. whiskey

1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, whisk together cake mix, pudding mix, vegetable oil, whiskey, milk, and eggs. Stir in 1 1/4 c. walnuts. Pour into a greased 10-cup Bundt pan. Bake at 325º for 40-50 minutes, or until edges are brown, and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for 15 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter to cool completely. Prepare glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, whiskey, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Drizzle over cooled cake. Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I usually use bourbon in place of the whiskey only because that is what I have on hand. I have also iced this with cream cheese icing using about 2 tablespoons (or to taste) of the whiskey/bourbon along with 2 Tbsp. of milk/cream.
