1 package Oreo Cookies
½ gallon vanilla ice cream
8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Let ice cream and cool whip set out for a few minutes to soften
Butter bottom of 9x13 baking dish (helps bind the crust)
Crush Oreos in large Ziploc bag. Use half or a little more of the crushed Oreos to press in bottom of pan for crust.
Fold Cool Whip in to softened ice cream
Top with remaining Oreos
Freeze for 2 hours to solidify ice cream mixture

My mom (Eva) made this for my 13th birthday because it was my favorite. We picked up Grandma Mize and went to have a picnic in the park. Remember my birthday is in May so it was HOT outside. Needless to say by the time we got to the cake portion we had Oreo shakes instead of a cake! Still Good but I recommend not taking this outdoors before serving!
