1-2 lbs Italian sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 c, chopped onion
½ c. chopped celery
½ c. chopped green pepper
½ c. chopped carrots
¼ lb sliced mushrooms
1 16 oz can tomatoes, cut up
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 t .salt
½ t. oregano leaves
½ t. basil leaves
1 clove garlic, diced
¼ t. pepper
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
½ c. grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 T. snipped parsley
1 ½ lbs mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Remove sausage from skins and brown with ground beef. Add vegetables and cook until onions look transparent. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste and first group of seasonings. Simmer slowly for 30 minutes.
Mix together cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs, and second group of seasonings.
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
Place a small amount of tomato mixture in a greased pan (13 x 9 x 2). Line pan with noodles. Spread with one-half of cheese mixture, then one-half of meat mixture. Add mozzarella slices. Repeat.
Bake at 325º for 45 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes to set.
