1 small can sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup diced greed peppers
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups light cream
1 3/4 cup of chicken broth
2 cups of chicken
1 jar pimentos
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter add green peppers and mushrooms-drained all but a 1/4 can, add flour slowly to have like a paste. After that add the rest of the ingredients and cook on medium heat for about a 1 1/2. and make sure you stir often so it doesn't stick.
Serve over mash potatoes or egg noodles. This is a great comfort dinner.

This recipe came from my Great Aunt Gert. When we went over to her house this was her signature dinners that she always served us over mashed potatoes.
