4 lbs. tart apples, peeled, cored, sliced thin
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Dump apples into the crockpot. Mix apples (about 2 cups) with cinnamon and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes for cinnamon and sugar to start to soak into apples. Slowly pour water and lemon juice over apples. Cook on low heat for 6 hours or high heat for 3 hours. Feel free to pop open the lid once an hour to stir and sniff up all the smells!
