8 lbs. tomatoes
4 medium green peppers
4 medium red peppers
3 c. chopped celery
3 c. chopped onion
2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 tbsp. salt
2 cinnamon sticks
2 hot peppers crushed
2 tsp. whole cloves
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 c. cider vinegar

Directions:

I try to have about 3 qts. of chopped tomatoes. Chop the peppers. Then combine tomatoes, peppers, celery, and onion with the sugar and salt. Cook on medium and stir till sugar is dissolved. Bring to boil for 45 minutes. Tie spices in a spice bag and add. Boil for 30 minutes (stirring once in awhile). Add vinegar and cook till thick. Remove spice bag and bottler. 6-8 pints.
