6 baking potatoes
1 envelope Lipton onion or mushroom onion mix
½ cup butter
¾ cup milk**

Preheat oven 400º

Baked potatoes until soft in the middle when pierced with fork. About 45 minutes.

When cooled split potatoes lengthwise, scoop potatoes from shells, (save shells) Add soup mix, butter, and at least 1/2 cup milk** to the potatoes. Mash potatoes well. Refill shells end with one of these garnishes:

Shredded cheddar cheese, or American cheese crumbled, cooked bacon, chives or butter bread crumbs.

** for sour cream potatoes use one cup sour cream instead of butter, and reduce milk to 1/2 cup.
