1 Cup Butter, softened
1/2 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Soda
1 Cup Pecans or Almonds
3 Cup Plain Flour
2 Tsp. Each Cinnamon, Cloves & Ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, syrup, spices and soda in large bowl. Beat until well blended and light. Stir in nuts and flour. On lightly floured surface, shape dough into logs. Wrap air tight and chill over nite. Cut into 3/8 slices and bake on greased cookie sheet in preheated oven until lightly browned. Let cool before removing from cookie sheet. Bake around 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
