1 cup butter
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
4 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix butter, 1½ cups sugar and eggs thoroughly. In another bowl sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
