2 pounds lean beef cubes
16 ounce fresh mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 large onion rough chopped
1 T garlic powder or minced garlic
1 bay leaf
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground thyme
1 cup burgundy wine (or substitute beef broth with 1 T red wine vinegar and splash of Worcestershire sauce)

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in slow cooker and stir to combine. Cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.

Serve over hot noodles or rice.
