1 c. long-grain white rice
2 c. chicken broth
1 T. butter
½ t. salt
1 small pinch saffron; crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter in a heavy quart saucepan. Melt over medium heat. Add rice, saffron, broth and salt. Bring to a rolling boil. Cover, reduce heat to simmer, cook until rice is tender and liquid is all absorbed (about 20 minutes).
